Bleach 172 Summary - In the previous episode, the story centered around the struggles of Vice-Captain Kira of the 3rd Protection Squad. As the team welcomes the new members it would seem like Kifune surpasses Kira in terms of fighting skills and leadership capabilities. Kira was afraid Kifune would eventually replace him. However, as they were doing their last mission Kira witnesses a different side of Kifune which puts a cloud of shady motives over his head.
