As one person commented before some countries are banned for viewing anything uploaded through VEOH. YOUR ANIME NOW has done an excellent job of making the video available to us, however, it would be much appreciated if another video player is used to upload the videos since VEOH is compromised.

I just watched the first few minutes because of the no-subtites.
Only reason why was because I thought they were going to air parts of Naruto Shippuden Movie 2: Bonds in the opening, which I believe goes to threaters in Japan next week.
I thought that because didn't somewhere between episodes 20-25, two episodes opening and closing had parts of the first movie, I forget which ones.
Can't wait for the movie to be subbed, it looks good from what I saw of the previews

I suggest that they surf the internet and download a Codec Pack (yes, you can find them for free).
Those are usually made specifically to watch anime, and they usually come with a player or two.
That might fix your problem, but I'm not saying that it will.

I am just pissed at people who vote for "Naruto." Naruto barely has any action and the storyline is completely random. NO adventure, just plain on fighting. For those who like Naruto better, I suggest you to watch the first episode of One Piece.
Naruto is so random. It starts off with a little naked boy, with the $H!TTY fox sealed in his stomach. Ok-thats all you need to know for this series. the whole point of the series of naruto is about controlling that power, and becoming stronger.
Second of all, Naruto is similar to Bleach. DO YOU KNOW Why?!?! Cause the creator of Naruto wanted it to be similar to Bleach; He was also inspired by the Bleach Manga.

At first I also thought One Piece was messed up, because how the character looked like, but my thoughts changed gradually as I started to watch it. You would understand if you have ever watched One Piece!In Many ways it differed. One Piece has a sense of humor and addiction that makes you want to see more. The Grandline is like a dream world beyond your imagination. It never ends... It's like when the earth was first created. Columbia Explored And found America... But in One Piece The adventure never ends. Different enemies each time, new power, New Nakama. IT's Like heaven. But when this is compared to Naruto, you are transferred back to reality. Naruto is Serious and has no plot. The story just goes straight forward. This is what makes Naruto so $H!TTY!
What facinates me the most is One Piece's OP! Anyone who watches One Piece would know what I mean. The Music fits with the story. It feels like your in heaven with eternal life. You can never tire of One Piece's OP.
The problem with Naruto is that it's just plain retarted. Too many fillers, there is barely even a plot, other than beating the hell out of the other dude.

Oda fills his chapter's full of information while Kishi draws out Sasuke scenes and forgets about naruto. The whole Naruto Series has gone down hill and the Anime gets worst as the fillers lead into the time skip. TERRIBLE!

Other people are too stupid to prefer Naruto over One Piece. They don't even know the story about One Piece, and yet they judge it and treat it like it's the worst anime ever created. which it is not. it's one of the greatest anime there is.
Personally, I don't understand why people fuss about the art too much. I know that One Piece has its own style and art, but at least the animation quality remains consistent even at over 350 episodes. Unlike in Naruto, where the quality really is going downhill. The plot is also getting better and better. There should be no reason why people will like Naruto better than One Piece, so maybe they've got something wrong with their heads.

One Piece is funny, has good action, and the characters are likeable, and everything can happen. Everyone has a role to play in the series, no one is a deadweight *cough*sakura*cough*
The series started as a single dream for a boy to become the pirate king, now it has evolved into something complex and interesting. Now we have all this plots about the meaning of name D., the role of the poneglyphs. We all know that Naruto will be a hokage. Luffy would be the pirate king but the thing is that no one knows how he will make that dream come true or what sacrifices he has to make.
One Piece has yet to disappoint me with all the good plots.

One piece has way better character development, drama, action, a plot that is actually moving somewhere, and it is way more original. I mean have you even ever read the latest chapters where they introduced the super novas. 500 chapter into it and it keeps going uphill, while naruto is sloping down.
But why is it everywhere I go people oogle all over Naruto instead ? I mean for a anime/manga it is pretty high up there but compared to One Piece, Naruto is so dragged out and boring ( I am caught up to it BTW )

Yeah I know he doesn't. He has something way cheaper. He was born with some fox demon in him with makes him go in mega hacks mode and pwn everyone and save his butt 50 times when he is in trouble.
At least Luffy's power is not that kewl compared to other devil fruit eaters who get a power like turning into lightning, also in turn for his powers he can't swim. That is one of the things that makes the show interesting, Luffy although having one of the lamest powers, honors his skill and strentgh to become the best.

One Piece is one of the best animes out there. The art has matured from its "kiddy" look certainly. The manga has evolved from Luffy being the pirate king (he is destined to be) to many sub-plots like the secret of the Poneglyphs, the Will of D. , what happened in the void history.
Also One Piece can evoke so many different feelings. When it needs to be funny and silly, it does a great job, when it needs to convey sadness, it does an amazing job (Robin finally allowed to shout what she really wants). In the chapter with the Tenryubitos, I really wanted Luffy to punch the guy because I was angry and furious on how "that" was allowed and protected by the law.
We know that Luffy and everyone else will complete their dreams, but the beauty is that we don't know how they will do it. While in Naruto, you have to be the best of the best of the clan to be on that mountain.
The manga is not only about luffy but is about everyone that has a dream and all the crew has a trait / ability to contribute. Usopp cannot compare to Zoro or Sanji's strength but has the brains to invent devious ways to win fights, 1000 kiloton hammer or shouting the "wrong" attack. Unlike Naruto where Sakura only whines and doesn't do anything, even she screws up holding a kunai. All the crew members are irreplaceable and I never felt so sad when Merry was gone, it will be always part of the crew no matter what. With the new crew members, the series has not "forgotten" the first members (very much what happened to Yamcha, Tien, and Chaozu in DBZ).
The manga has kept me on a cliffhanger every week for 4 years, the entire World Government arc, which has only been brilliant and so full of plot twists that made you guess every time and its conclusion was outstanding and one of its best in the series (my second one is the Mugiwara crew "saying" a silent good bye to Vivi, to show that she will be always a nakama).
Let us not forget that Oda-sensei has re-invented the One Piece universe so many times with only only one chapter. The introduction to the New World brought the Four Emperors. Now in the Supernovas chapter, we have been introduced to 8 new "potential" rivals, not enemies, that look for the One Piece.
Now, I can't wait for them to enter the New World and obtain the coveted one piece.
goodboy you obviously know a lot about anime in general, and it's quite clear you think One Piece is "one of the best animes out there", but that is your opinion. An opinion is something everyone's entitled to. Yours is that Naruto sucks, which you've stated many times. Other people like Naruto as much as you like One Piece. You don't have to take it upon yourself to make sure that everyone knows you think Naruto is a bad anime. I like vanilla ice cream better than chocolate ice cream, but I'm not going to go around to ice cream trucks and tell kids they're retards for liking chocolate ice cream.
Why not focus on message boards about One Piece and share your opinions with people who agree with you? You may say you're trying to "change the way people think about anime" but it comes off like you're just telling people that your favourite is better than their favourite. You can let people know you think One Piece is a good anime without totally insulting another one. You'll probably get better responses. :)

i think that fillers are ok to some extent it gives people new perspective on other Characters that aren't shown much in the main storyline of the anime .

It's not that you insulted Naruto. I couldn't care less if you said it's a terrible anime. I even think that as far as main characters go, Naruto is kind of dull, and I get bored with the filler episodes just like everybody else. The only reason why I posted at all is because you're talking about a different anime. This page has a Naruto video on it. Chances are most people who come to this page like Naruto, and trying to tell them that they shouldn't, or that they should like something else more, just isn't going to have much of an effect.
If you're looking to have a discussion about different animes, try forums. Check out Anime-forums for example, they have a thread on this exact topic. There are plenty of people who agree with you, and plenty that disagree. I definitely don't think it's widely considered that Naruto is the "best anime out there", I think it's alright. But people who come here to watch it will obviously get angry at some of your posts. It's completely fine that you want to defend one of your favourite animes, but I strongly recommend that you do that on a forum, instead of on a page like this which is populated by people who like what they're watching.

I gotta agree what goodboy says about One Piece... When I first saw the show I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. "Ok so there's a pirate made out of rubber... yay?" But it REALLY gets good. I was just skimming the episodes and everything was just happy, goofy, silly, and then suddenly that girl pirate (Nami or whatever) is on the ground crying and using a knife to stab/skin a tattoo off of her arm, and suddenly the whole series gets insanely good.
If you like Naruto even a little bit, just go check out One Piece because it will suck you in way more than Naruto does. (just make sure you don't watch the 4-kids dub version. They cut out anything remotely enjoyable. Also, I suggest starting at the Water7/Enies Lobby arc, as it's one of the best parts of the series and it'll be sure to hook you and make you want to watch everything from the beginning).
My issue with Naruto is that it's 10% storyline and 90% fillers. It doesn't matter if it's the coolest, most intense filler there is, who cares? It's a filler. Nobody important is going to die. Nothing involving Sasuke/Orochimaru is going to happen. Nothing will happen. It's just a waste of time. Everytime I see an episode where somebody says, "Oh, Naruto. This is Random-Person-#5. He'll be joining Team Kakashi for a while", I just smack my head because I know that it'll take 15-20 episodes for them to get back on track.
For those who don't understand why so many people hate fillers, just read the Manga. While this filler is semi-interesting and kinda well made, it's complete shit compared to what's coming up in the actual storyline. There are so many awesome battles just around the corner so I don't give a crap about Sai and whatever the hell the other guy's name is.
Between this point in the Anime storyline and the current point of the Manga storyline, I can think of 4 important people who have died. Why would anybody want to watch new and unimportant characters get introduced when we could be watching, you know, the actual story.

You must have watched the 4kids dubbed version, where they took out any blood, cleavage, or more adult themes and jokes.

And there are other parts in the series where characters get pounded worse than that guy! (I just don't know the episode numbers for the other examples). Really, One Piece is not a kid-oriented show. Some of it is kid friendly, but then you get to parts where you see them throwing up blood and snapping their enemies spines in half.

Goodboy, stop writing all these pointless comments...we all have different opinions...i have to admit that naruto filler episodes are boring but if you care to read the manga (even though there is no colour and graphics are poor) then the plot is a whole lot better...in addition the naruto fillers are over, so there will be no more stalling...sure one piece is cool, but can we not comment on something that does not value other people's opinions?
