why are you guys complaining about 23 min of him dying.. someone said they should have been hoppin back to the village, etc. IDK would you want to see 23 min of flashbacks of his favorite moments with his students? or everyone branch- hopping back to the village? hmmm tough call...
i really like this episodes but there was no naruto in this episode i hope that in next one Akatsuki will come to kanoha and there's going to be more of naruto.I wanna see naruto fighting Akatsuke I'm sure that it's going to be fun.

I loved this episode. I don't get what everyone was complaining about. Asuma was a good character. And Kurenai ... oh I feel for her. And at least it's sticking to the storyline in the manga and ISN'T filler. I mean seriously is there no pleasing you? First it's complaining about filler and now that it's on the story you complain cause there's no fighting or naruto isn't in this one. Appreciate the anime for what it is. it's not all about fast paced action, there's a STORY to follow and get lost in.
that was a damn good episode it didnt need fighting its not called fag fight show without a damn point, theres an actual story to it, and people who guess really need to just start reading the manga, ur ideas r stupid, just read it

This is a manga-based series about fighting with a point...you'll have to forgive them, they don't always juggle the fighting and the point so well lately.
The hour-long special was unnecessary, but as far as tributes go, this ep was decent. At least it wasn't Shikamaru running toward AND away from Asuma for five minutes...complete with my hot show choir girlfriend singing in the background...

That was the best and sad episode I ever seen. It made me cry. I hope they get back at the undead guy, for sure

pathetic, they wasted an entire episode... and it was not even filler..... this was one of the worst episodes of naruto ever concieved.
